Jungle Boogie Fundraiser: Dancing, Roaring & Supporting Harriet

When our Baby Sparks family comes together, magic happens - and our recent fundraising session for one of our mums, Harriet, was proof of just that. On Wednesday 30th July 2025, we hosted a special Spark Movers and Shakers class with a jungle twist. With cheeky monkeys, slippery snakes and roaring tigers in full swing, the session was loud, lively and full of love. In total, 32 mums, dads and little ones joined the fun.

Together, we raised £393.70 in cash, alongside numerous direct donations to Harriet’s GoFundMe page. It was a truly heartwarming morning. Toddlers danced, parents laughed, and everyone knew they were part of something bigger; supporting Harriet as she bravely faces stage 4 lung cancer.

Harriet came along with her daughter Nellie, who loved every minute of the jungle adventure. Having them there made the day even more special, and we were so grateful to share those smiles together. Adding to the family atmosphere, Helen and Kat also had their own children with them - Kat’s daughter and Helen’s three boys - so the room was brimming with life, energy and a little bit of beautiful chaos.

And just like we always say, flexible working was demonstrated at its finest, involving the kids and showing them the gift of doing something selfless, for a good cause and for the benefit of others, a great lesson that all children should learn.
